The WellSpring Project was established in 2020 as a community driven initiative that uses upstream public health efforts to promote resilience and healthy development for all people in Washington County, MN. WellSpring strives to be intentional in promoting the themes of belonging, inclusivity, cultural attunement, connectedness, empowerment, mindfulness, and celebrating the intersectional experiences that foster growth, collaboration, positive and healthy relationships and dynamics. Free Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Training

In order to protect our community, Washington County Public Health & Environment encourages anyone in the community who is interested to take a free lifesaving suicide intervention course. The QPR Gatekeeper online course teaches participants how to "Question, Persuade, and Refer" a person who may be considering suicide through a one hour session that can be accessed at any time.

Center for Victims of Torture

CVT provides torture survivors with a healing sanctuary and support them as they rebuild their lives at the clinic. CVT also works with refugee, immigrant, and asylum seekers. A team of professionals work to ensure that survivors are safe and stable before they begin their healing journey.

East African Healing Services

Provides professional and culturally competent mental health rehabilitative services and other supportive services to refugees and immigrants who suffer impairment from symptoms caused by trauma and mental illness. EAHS services respect the culture, religion, and language of clients.

Hmong American Partnership - Children and Family Services

Hmong Mental Health Podcast

Mental health for the Hmong community remains difficult to address and understand. Yet it is a growing concern that continues to impact the well-being of Hmong families. In this podcast, the clinical team at Vanguard Mental Health and Wellness Clinic will talk about mental health from a cultural framework.

Karen Organization of Minnesota - Community Health

KOM facilitates health trainings and education to prevent suicide, violence and alcohol/drug abuse. We also provide resources to support mental wellbeing, family planning, and positive family relationships.
